Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7001
Select not to print drawings - text boxes are printed with crosses in them.
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:43 UTC
Hi, I have created a document with text boxes. I do not want the text boxes to appear when printed so I uncheck the box in tools, options etc! The text does not appear but boxes with crosses in them do! (See attached example!) Thanks, Cheryl Belch
Created attachment 2509 [details] example of text box - try printing with drawings off!
Any comments on this issue please? Regards, Cheryl Belch
SBA->AMA: This is at least inconsistent to Calc (nothing (not even the frame of a draw text object) gets printed if drawings are switched off).
I agree.
Oliver: Please suppress printing of drawing complete if the approbiate option is unchecked.
decreasing priority from P1 to P3, because it's no crash and no missing functionality.
reset target to OOo 2.0, because complete option to enable/disable display/print of objects in the word processing have to be reviewed first. If this task is done, this issue can be handled appropriately.
