When I insert PNG images, I always have to scale it to 75% to get the original size.

I checked with "2.0.2  German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and was not
able to reproduce that problem.

@streetpc 
How should we see what "original size" of your images is? pls. at least attach
your  original .png file!
Best would be if yo create a .png from an element in an OOo DRAWING document and
attach both: source OOo drawing and created .png

Please also 
- specify your patform and OS
- Check whether the problem png specific or is visible for all image file types?

Tested with OOo 2.0.3 WinXP PC.
Confirmed: the png is scaled, although I would not expect it to be... however,
not sure whether this would be considered a bug...

Checked the png file with 'TweakPNG'. The 'pHYs' chunk specifies ~72dpi
resolution (= screen res), so I would expect no scaling (rounding issue?).
Deleting the pHYs chunk, results in OOo loading the image without scaling.

OOo 2.0.3 English, WinXP Pro SP2 English
I had that problem with the 2.0.2 as well (on WinXP Home SP2)
PNG made with Paint.NET (www.getpaint.net) and Photofiltre (www.photofiltre.com)
gave the same results, in 72dpi

I reproduced the bug with BMP (24 and 8-bits colors) and JPEG, but not with GIF
images.

Insert as link does not change anything.

HI->OD: I've created an png file where the size is 3x3 cm and embeded it to a
writer document.
Every time when I open the picture property and click to Original Size, the
measure will be 3,03x3,03 cm.

Don't have the problem with PNG made from MS Visio Pro (PNG, 16 colors).
