I'm trying to write something in Punjabi, which works fine everywhere else 
(even Notepad) but I get only squares in OOo.

For writing Hindi the right font is autoselected, but for Punjabi the Raavi 
Font (which contains the system script for gurmukhi) is not automatically 
selected. Raavi (or ArialUnicodeMS) _do_ work if selected.

I tried downloading the Hindi Language Pack (for RC3) and hoped it would change 
the UI to Hindi too, but the whole GUI was 'squared' after installation.
