Description stephenlee 2006-10-16 21:34:27 UTC
When I save a Calc spreadsheet containing unicode CJK Unified Ideograph
extension B and Characters in Private User Area in .ods and re-open it, Calc
shows an error message:

Read-Error
Format error discovered in the file in sub-document $(ARG1) at $ARG2(row,col)

or

Read-Error
Format error discoverd in the file in sub-document content.xml at 2,98293(row,col)

while it opens and handles correctly if I save in .xls format.

I have prepared files in zip demostrating the error, including:
- screen-shot if opening .xls (for the sake of simplicity, only 1 column, 427
characters, don't worry if garbage characters, the problem is file opening error)
- screen-shot if opening .ods (error-message)
- one .xls and one .ods saved using the same spreadsheet

This problem occurred from 2.0.2 (when I knew and started using openoffice), I
thought someone there could notice the problem, but none at the end.

Don't know where to send...no attachment button around

Hi Niklas,

the problem is that the closing text:p element is written without the starting
'>' sign for cell A407.

Frank
