Description antibor 2006-10-18 14:18:42 UTC
If I design a table in OpenOffice.org Base and want to save it, I get the
following error message: "Column size is required in statement...". This can be
reproduced, even with the table creation wizard!

clu->antibor: gererally works fine for me
1. sounds like anything is corrupted on your system - please reinstall
(deinstall before) you office and java and try again and if still occure 2. may
you describe more precisely, what you do, what field type you use for table
creation etc. (step by step)

thx

Additional Infos:

I was creating a simple table with integer (autoincrement, primary key), varchar
and date fields (primary key only once, of course). It always gave the error
already mentioned.

Source of the package was the download site of the german localization project,
deb-Packages, since I use Kubuntu at my office.

As I mentioned, I got the error using the wizards of OOo to create tables, too.
This is why I filed the issue at all.

Since at my office I do not have the time to always deinstall, reinstall and
test, I will stick to the version shipped with Kubuntu, that runs whithout any
problems.

Thanks for Your attention!

clu->antibor: i understand, that you do not want to spend endless time on
bugtracking, but unfortunatly in some cases (especially if an issue is not
reproducable on our test systems) and cannot be acknowledged from anywhere, we
have no possibility to fix them

clu->all: can anybody give a further hint to repro or i close this issue as invalid

thx
