Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71448
Highlight colour displays differently from one chosen
Last modified: 2006-11-13 11:32:25 UTC
This is OOE60_m2, one of Pavel's testing builds, for Intel Macs. I'm using 10.4.8 on a MacBook. In Writer, when you click on the Highlight button and choose a colour, the text is coloured, but the wrong colour! In the attached screenshot, I have chosen light-green. I clicked on the light-green box, and the colour picker text says "light green" in my language. But the text is coloured purple! I tried clicking around the colour picker, choosing different colours, but in every case, the text highlight colour was different to the colour chosen in the colour picker. I couldn't see any specific pattern, like being out by one or two. I checked if it was related to me moving the colour picker, and closed it, and brought it up again in the original position, but the problem is the same. I have no idea if this happens on other platforms. I couldn't find anything like it by searching.

The text is still selected - the color of the selection also adapts to the background color. de-select the text and you will see the color you desire.
Closed, not a bug. The selection MUST have a different color than the text background.
