Description tony.galmiche.ooo 2006-11-16 11:48:37 UTC
Column 3d deep: rounded edges seem to have different (better) value than for the
other types (non-deep).

BM : Interesting. As noted, I like the (obviously) smaller value for deep charts
better.

PAG : This issue is only that for that kind of chart, the display of lines does
not look as smooth (anti-aliased) as for other charts.

BM : Hm, I thought I had understood this. Anyway, the rounded edges *are*
different for deep, and we should have a look at this (not very high priority,
though). If this is really about anti-aliasing, I think you have to explain
again, what you (or Tony) mean(s). Because the anti-aliasing is definitely the
same for all 3d charts. We cannot influence this (if we could, we would enable
it everywhere, not just for 3d deep charts).
There might be differences in the appearance of the grid for the default-sized
chart. In the non-deep version, the grid lines more often vanish partly in the
wall. But this is just an artifact of the drawing layer's 3d rendering. If you
enlarge the chart a bit, you will see that the only difference are the round
edges of the bars, they are a bit smaller in deep charts.
