Description eiriksson 2006-12-05 17:21:01 UTC
Started a new blank document.
Wrote 1 line of text.
Marked last word of line.
Clicked highlighting button on toolbar.
Text got highlighted.
Selected "No fill" in highlighting dropdown palette.
Continued typing text on line, but new text is still highlighting.

Cannot disable highlighting...

If I select another highlighting color in the highlighting dropdown palette
then highlighting continues with previously selected color.

MRU->FL: currently there does not exist an intuitive way to stop character
background color at the end of a text when someone has set it via color
controller in the Objectbar.

At the moment it will only work, when the cursor is placed right of the
formatted portion and you select "Format.Default formatting" or remove the
background color via "Format.Character.Background".

Issue 75648 has been marked duplicate, though it's an editing, not formatting
issue, maybe the subcomponent should be changed?
