I had described a bug in OOo 2.0.4 Danish spell check when I pressed 
the "Subcomponent"-link and a new page opened in the same window. When I wanted 
to go back to this page, the description and summary of the issue had been 
deleted and I had to start all over!
Earlier when I had pressed the "Assigned to"-link, the new page was opened in a 
new window, and my bug-description was unaffected - a lot smarter!

I can only partially confirm your observations - "Subcomponent" in fact reuses 
the same browser window, by clicking Back returns to the issue with all fields 
as they were left.
Please specify Component which you selected and Backing reset all your input. 
Also please specify browser used.
