Description lars 2002-08-31 00:31:11 UTC
I had to insert unformatted, but some cells had the bold attribute and other
things set and above function might be useful therefore.

that's also useful for stripping the files of ballast in preparation for save.

How should this function know what can be erased ?

Just use the CTRL + SHIFT+ Cursorkey to select these Ranges you want
to be reset to the default style, open the context menu and choose
default. This will reset the cells to the default style and therefore
erase all given formats of these cells.

So this is invalid and I close it.

I don't find this function in the customize toolbar dialogue

Have you read my comment ?

I think not !

This is no function for a toolbar, it's just some keys to be pressed
simultaneously. So this is closed again and should be closed.

The function you mentioned could be exactly the one I was looking
for, at least it does what I liked to have been done.

This function is also available from the Format menu and operates on
any cell which has an attribute like bold text or background color
set.

This is the "undo all formatting" function and would fit nicely next
to the bold, italic, underlined, color icons in the toolbar.

But I also think that every function available should also be
available to set on a toolbar (such an implementation might be
just "logical"). That's the actual reason I reopened. I personally
might not place it on the toolbar but use the context menu instead. I
would rename it "undo all formatting" though because I don't like
such "inexplaining" names as "default" (I dont really know what it
does, what it defaults, what is the default, is anything special
about it).

Btw. I am using that priorisation scheme in a way that I generally put
non-defects "lower" (P3,P4,P5); but is it not meant to be working
seperately, that means, prios for defects and enhancements are
different, so that I can set an enhance. to P1 because it is an "most
needed" enhancement but I can set a defect to P3 because it doesn't
make working impossible but you still know that the enhance. is not
more urgent than the defect just because of the prio?
