Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 75202
New Chart Default Colors are not contained in the Office color palette
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:19:45 UTC
In the new chart implementation there are 12 new default colors. 0x004586 0xff420e 0xffd320 0x579d1c 0x7e0021 0x83caff 0x314004 0xaecf00 0x4b1f6f 0xff950e 0xc5000b 0x0084d1 These colors are not part of the standard.soc palette yet, and have no UI names. This is especially necessary for using these colors for other objects, or even interchanging the colors of two data series.
Just for eager Users (such as me!) I have put these nice vibrant colors into a palette, so that we can have a play. I have arranged them in color order (by my eyes...). They are named Chart 01 -12 in the order they are listed for use in charts. (See attached). Cheers, Andrew

Changing type to enhancement (Can be seen as bug, because the new colors are not selectable, but the new colors and their names need some specification, see URL for spec).
Please verify in CWS chart06 that the colors named "Chart 1" to "Chart 12" are contained in the standard palette. Additional test: delete the standard.soc in %Usersettings%/user/config and start OOo. The colors should be in the auto-generated palette as well.
