I added a package
    # ./unopkg  add --shared
/home/gavin/updates/OpenOffice/postgresql-sdbc-0.7.4.zip
but then 
    # ./unopkg list
    all deployed user packages:
    <none>
which is strange!

However, OOo Base did have an option for postgresql!

I am running Fedora Core 6 with an AMD64 dual core processor chip

For shared packages, you need to issue

  unopkg list --shared
