Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 75986
Table linestyles do not propagate correctly
Last modified: 2007-04-02 13:20:33 UTC
I have created a table that has black lines on the outside, and light-grey lines on the inside. When I add a new row at the end of the table, the line above the row retains its black color, even though it is now located inside the table. This means I get to edit the table line properties every single time I add a row somewhere. See screenshot: I expect Writer to remember that I assigned a particular linestyle to lines within the table, and apply that style to any line that happens to be (or become) an inner line.

It might be, that this is not a defect but an enhancement request. I think the behavior should be changed, because Calc acts in the way, which johannesg expects and there is no reason for a difference between Calc and Writer in this case. Word act the way, that the outer border doesn't become an inner line, too.
Same problem as issue 75310. From OO 2.3 DEV build 680m206 on this will already work for the toolbar buttons; Issue 75310 will handle this for tab-key usage. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 75310 ***
