Please provide a sample extension that prints its installation path into a
messagebox for automated testing.

You might contact JL for information about how to create an extension.

Fixed in cws dv02. Added sample extension locationtest.oxt in
desktop/<output>/bin/ and basic macro to get the path in
desktop/test/deployment/locationtest/locationtest.odt
