the join link on homepage leads to following error message:

This site does not allow users to self-register. Contact the site admin if you
want an account.

The server was unable to process your request.

Please click on your browser's Back button, review your input, and try again.

If you get the error again, please notify us, including the following
information in your report:

    * The date and time Thu Sep 12 01:58:49 PDT 2002
    * The screen name, field input, and action
    * The version and build number 1.1.3.000
    * Any other relevant information

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
