0. open a new database
1. create a table with any fields
2. open the report designer and bind it to the table
3. d&d any field in the doc
4. open the format/page dialog from menue
5. reduce the left margin & ok
6. the working area (grid) has not expand to left border (the ruler does)

-> not possible to drag controls in the created space

p.s. the same with the other margins
