French: Files for translation update of 2.3 Attached is a .zip archive containing .sdf files to be translated. Some useful information: The .sdf files can be converted to .po files using the oo2po tool and converted back to .sdf format using the po2oo tool from the Translate Toolkit package: http://translate.sourceforge.net/ Documentation with examples for conversion and backconversion is here: http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/toolkit/oo2po Once converted the .po files back to .sdf format, don't forget to run gsicheck on the newly created .sdf files to make sure that they are not corrupted: http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/gsicheck/ Finally, please attach the new .sdf files (zipped, if possible) back to this issue and assign the issue back to petr_dudacek. A wiki page about the translation of 2.3 is under construction, a link will be posted here once the page is ready. Thanks, Petr

Hi Petr, all So thanks to Damien, I've been able to convert the files back to .sdf. I've run gsicheck again both files, the UI is correct but HC2 not. So I upload UI file now and will correct the HC2 file tomorrow morning. Hope it won't be too late. Kind regards Sophie

Hi Petr, So, I'm over with the gsicheck and I'm attaching the HC2 file back. However, there is some error style appearing with gsicheck, I copy/past the messages : Error: Line format, Line 12: Format of line is unknown. Ignoring! "helpcontentsource\text\shared\main0201" Error: Line format, Line 14: Format of line is unknown. Ignoring! "helpcontentsource\text\shared\main0201" Error: Translation Tag Missmatch, Line 826, UniqueID helpcontent2/source\text\shared\guide\digital_signatures.xhp/help/par_id3204443///: Property 'href': value different in Translation : \<link href=\"http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/How_to_use_digital_Signatures\"\> at Position 0 "" I don't understand the errors in line 12 and 14. I've tried to copy an past the Engliss strings but it still appears Error in line 826 is in fact not an error because we have translated the page How to use digital signatures in Comment utiliser les signatures numériques, but how do I change the link ? Salut Sophie, for lines 12 and 14 - I don't know where the problem was, but I guess that there was a tab missing somewhere or so. I fixed it by copy&pasting the English string over the translation, changing "Chart" to "Diagramme" and changing the language code from en-US to fr. Now it's ok. And for the problem with the link, this is in fact a bug in gsicheck - it doesn't accept links pointing to different URLs in the source and in the translation. But you don't need to worry about this, it's a known issue and it's not a problem in the sdf file itself. I'm going to send the file to Frank to have it imported. Thanks for your work! Petr
Attaching files for the 2nd round of translation of 2.3. Some important notes: The deadline for submitting translated files back is July 26 at noon CEST (10:00 UTC). A new version of gsicheck is available at http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/gsicheck/ - please use this version for checking the translated sdf files before attaching them back to this issue. Hi Petr, Oups, attachement 47038 and 47039 are the same. I attach now the first round of localisation for the HC2 reviewed by Elsa and corrected, so it's validated by Elsa and against gsicheck too. The second HC2 file of second translation round will be uploaded later today. Then I'll reassign the issue to you. Kind regards - Sophie
