Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7921
Add "Deselect all sheet" to context menu of worksheet tab menu.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:14:30 UTC
In a workbook with a large quantity of worksheets, you can select them all by right clicking the tab and choosing select all. There is no quick way to unselect them all so you are forced to ctrl-click each one.
I've found that shift-clicking the active worksheet deselect's all, a menu option to do the same would be more intuitive. Which makes this an enhancement request instead of a defect
Hi Falko, wouldn't be bad if it get's added. peter

Dear developers, any progress on this one?
UX Proposal: * The context menu should contain "Select All" (no change to current behavior). * If the number of selected worksheets is >=2, then the context menu should contain "Remove Selection" (or something better depending on the current terminology) below the previously described "Select All" and before the separator. Response to "[ux-discuss] De-selecting sheets when several sheets are selected" by Niklas Nebel at http://ux.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=discuss&msgNo=3123
Grabbing the issue.
Fixed on CWS "calc49". The text for the menu entry is "Deselect All Sheets", after discussion on the ux-discuss list.
