When creating a simple line diagram in Calc, it is not possible to specify what 
data are to be used in the x-axis. The problem also arises when you import in 
OpenOffice a sheet with a diagram featuring x-axis data from an xls Excel file.

Biancio, thanks for using and supporting OOo.

One problem per issue please.

Could you please list step by step instructions that consistently 
reproduce the issue you mentioned.  I apologize, but I don't 
understand which feature you are referring to.

OOo lets you choose whether the data series is in rows or columns.
