Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 79653
Line spacing too large for fonts with ulUnicodeRange2 bit 57 set ("Non Plane 0")
Last modified: 2007-08-07 15:42:48 UTC
When a TrueType font has ulUnicodeRange2 bit 57 set in the OS/2 table ("Non Plane 0"), OOo Writer makes line spacing exactly twice too large. For example this applies to the DejaVu font <http://dejavu.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page> in version 2.18. When the font is changed by only changing this bit to 0, line spacing is correct. This is PLD version of OOo with lots of patches, but hopefully the cause is in the core.

MRU->HDU: could you please have a look at this? Thanks a lot!
Thanks for analyzing the problem! Unfortunately the problem is already known as issue 73803, which got fixed in development snapshots newer than SRC680_m206 and the fix will be in the OOo 2.3 release. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 73803 ***
