Jobin, Stefan is on vacation right now. Jobin: will you post the broadcast message to the site? I can notify people beforehand with a note on the homepage and a brief message to announce@openoffice.org, stating, "The OpenOffice.org website will be offline for about one hour commencing 04:30 UTC 09 August while CollabNet performs scheduled maintenance. All mail lists and forums, as well as Issue Tracker and CVS, will be affected. We regret any inconvenience this outage may cause." Louis
Louis , The broadcast has been posted in the Openoffice site.
thanks! I'll post a note on the homepage later on today, 8 Aug. Louis
The site has been installed with the patch 3 starting testing on the site . The maintenance duration took longer about ~ 37 minutes than the required one hour. The site was up 06:07:00 Thursday August 9, 2007 UTC. Also a call was made to MartinH informing that the site was down.
We are also investigating on the reasons for the slow startup of the site . I would be opening another issue to track the investigation. Normal testing of the site has been completed after the application of the patch. We did not encountered any issues during our testing. Marking this issue as Fixed . Please verify and close the issue .
