footnote symbols in headings are shown in "chapter name" field. I think the
symbol should not appear. Like in indexes for example.

MRU->OS: as described... I also do not think, that it is desired to have the
footnote number appearing in a "Chapter" field

Target changed to 2.x
->fme: The chapter field calls SwTxtNode::GetExpandTxt() which returns a string
that contains also footnote symbols. 
There's a second GetExpandTxt() copying the content from one text node to
another that allows for footnote exclusion and tab-to-spaces conversion. Please
add these features to the first method.
There are probably other calls to GetExpandTxt() that would also take advantage
of that change.
