Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 80516
footnote symbols in headings are shown in "chapter name" field
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:44:35 UTC
footnote symbols in headings are shown in "chapter name" field. I think the symbol should not appear. Like in indexes for example.

MRU->OS: as described... I also do not think, that it is desired to have the footnote number appearing in a "Chapter" field
Target changed to 2.x ->fme: The chapter field calls SwTxtNode::GetExpandTxt() which returns a string that contains also footnote symbols. There's a second GetExpandTxt() copying the content from one text node to another that allows for footnote exclusion and tab-to-spaces conversion. Please add these features to the first method. There are probably other calls to GetExpandTxt() that would also take advantage of that change.
move to target 3.x according http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
