- unix only win is ok.
- start an Impress
- change to 'Slide Show / Slide Show settings...' and select 'Navigator Visible'
- confirm the dialog with ok and start the presentation
- you see the navigator opening but then the presentation window appears in
front of the navigator window.
- to get the navigator visible press strg+shift+F5 2x or change to the pause
slide (press b or w) of the presentation and leave the pause mode again.
Please have a look.

Please what do you mean by press "strg+ ..." Which key is it ?
On my installation (OOo 2.3.0 under Kubuntu 6.06) I can't get the navigator
visible even pressing b or w.

strg is the same like ctrl

@cgu : thanks for the information strg == ctrl.

In OOo 2.4, I can get the navigator visible only by pressing b ou w two times.
ctrl+shift+F5 do nothing.
