Description joerg.skottke 2007-08-13 13:05:37 UTC
Reproduction:
- Open one document
- Open the Extension Manager
- Click "Updates"
- Quickly click on the window closer of the background window
- Close the updates dialog
- Close the Extension Manager
-> The office is completely disabled
Comment 1 joerg.skottke 2007-08-13 13:06:55 UTC
Tested on Linux, going for other platforms now.
Comment 2 joerg.skottke 2007-08-13 13:25:58 UTC
Same on Windows:
- Open updates dialog
- Close the application window
- Close updates dialog
- Close Extension Manager
-> All toolbars are disabled - deadlock.

Just to clarify: Closing the windo in the background does not work - this is the
fix.
But both toolbars and menus are greyed out after closing the extension manager.
For Windows you need to start with an open document as well otherwise you won't
notice the state of the toolbars.

JL->CD: Please investigate (and fix if possible) if you can prevent that the
toolbar is disabled.

JL->JSK: Please let TM test the different scenarios for closing the office.

Checked and verified in cws jl72 -> OK ! It's a little bit ugly, that the
extension-manager vanishes to the background if the office is clicked somewhere.
Might it be a solution to make this dialog modal ? As a workaround OK.
