Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 80810
can't add ODG draw documents to gallery via API
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:48:10 UTC
We tried to add ODG files to macro described in i80184. We are really not sure if it is possible, but the SDK documentation talk about supported files. ODG is really supported IHMO. So we added this part to our macro, but no success with it. We can't add any ODG draw element - It seems OOo try to open it as a new document (a new OOo window appear then disappear briskly. If we have 7 Draw documents it happens seven times. Can you target to 2.4 as i80184?
Set to new and change the target.
Issue i80184 is assigned to you. Please have also a look to this issue. Maybe this issue is duplicate to issue i80184.
I do not know why is it on me. KA can you solve this issue somehow for 2.4? IHMO it is not duplicate, but the problem might have same roots.
Can you finish it for 2.4? It would be a must have feature for us.
set target 3.0

===== [comments taken from #23029, marked as duplicate to this issue:] The Gallery supports the Draw format, but not the Math format. If the Math format could be read by the Gallery, then users could store commonly used formulae in the Galler for use. ------- Additional comments from mru Tue Dec 2 17:17:25 +0000 2003 ------- The Gallery must be able to process OLE Objects if Math objects should be accepted there. ------- Additional comments from kami_ Sun Jul 17 08:05:11 +0000 2005 ------- It a good idea! It may makes the life easier to Math users... ------- Additional comments from kami_ Thu Feb 9 22:54:00 +0000 2006 ------- What is your opinion about this issue? ------- Additional comments from tl Mon Sep 25 10:33:41 +0000 2006 ------- . ------- Additional comments from satorisoon Sun Nov 11 09:06:28 +0000 2007 ------- This would be very useful for tech/science drawings. ( eg vector names in a math or physics drawing, ....) ===== ka: OLE solution accepted for OOo 3.0
retargeted to OOo 3.x
