It isn't possible to edit one of the fields in the attached document.

I get a bogus "Read only content can not be modified" error message when trying
to edit the text.

Also it is not possible to place the cursor inside the fields by clicking w/the
mouse.

The content is protected in the document - thus you cannot edit it.
You can turn this off in Format.Sections.
