Hi there!
One of the most things that I miss is a alpha channel like function that allows
to smooth the edges of objects. That makes presentations look more likely and
allows a more lively than 'flat' style.
You might have a look at Mediator from www.Matchware.com, that offers this feature.

In my mind this is a feature and not a defect.
