Description sled10guy 2007-08-21 16:18:34 UTC
NOTE: This bug was originally reported here -
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=302165

Test Platforms:
openSUSE 10.3 beta1 x86_64
openSUSE 10.3 beta1 i586
NOTE: Used Gnome Desktop on both platforms

Tested Build(s):
Build OOo-Dev_OOG680_m1_LinuxIntel_install_en-US.tar.gz downloaded from here:
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OOo-Dev&os=linuxintel&lang=en-US&version=OOG680_m1

Problem:
If the user attempts to scroll through the attached OpenDocument Text (Flat
XML) (.fodt) document, OpenOffice hangs.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open writer
oowriter
- Open the attached document and attempt to scroll through the document. Using
the scroll wheel on the mouse, the Page Down Button or the scroll bar on the
side of the document all caused the application to hang and consume 99% of the CPU.

Expected Behavior
The user should be able to scroll through the document without the application
hanging and consuming 99% of the processor.
