Found in OOo2.3rc w jre, german localized version:

install OOo 2.3 using the Java installer as root with default path and all
components. Installation will be done but installer reports an error after all
files have been processed.

After closing the installer you can start OpenOffice.org. In fact it has been
installed successfully.

seems to be caused by the attempt to install several desktop integration packages

What distribution has been used for installation? Looks like Fedora.

Suse 10.1 has been used

 ... indeed my own failure: the error is reported on conflicts with installed
SuSE-OOo version
