Each time I try to open a document, I am prompted to register. I have registered
man times already. How do I stopthis prompt from coming up?  Thanks

Framework issue.

Looks like you don't have write access to your OOo user directory. Please check
this. Just rename the OpenOffice folder in you Application Data folder. If you
haven't configured to much you can also delete it. Which OOo version are you
using exactly?

Submitter has answered per mail. Renaming the user folder has helped. That
points to a broken configuration. I've pointed the submitter to
users@openoffice.org for his further questions.
