Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 81443
animation are omitted in saving OO file as a ppt file
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:06 UTC
When saving impress file with animations as a ppt file, the animations are omitted. I opened the saved ppt file (which was original OO file) with Office2000 and the animations were missing. Note: If I open the saved ppt file by OO the animations are active again

I can't reproduce the bug. Please have a look if you can also reproduce the bug in the latest version.
I reproduced the bug also in OpenOffice.org 2.2.1 version. I created another impress file in OO 2.2.1 and add animations to the text boxes (the animation effect is: Fly In) and saved the file. The animations were active on Open Office slide show. Then I saved the file as a Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 and opened it by Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 SR-1 (9.0.3821) - but the animations were not active in the slide show. If I open the saved ppt file by Open office the animations are active again! I attach the ppt file that was originally created by OpenOffice.org 2.2.1 - Please have a look if you can also reproduce the bug, if not tell me exactly what are the platforms you have checked the bug on.

Reopen the issue.
Set to new and change the target
I can reproduce the bug. The animations are assigned correct but they are not checked in 'Set up show...'
set target from 2.x to 3.x according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
