Description hba 2007-09-17 12:07:07 UTC
Opening the document to which I compared another document, causes Calc to crash.

1) Open a Calc document.
2) Compare it to another document having at least one different cell (using
Edit/Compare Document).
3) "Accept or Reject Changes" dialog appears (do NOT close it).
4) Try to open the second document (using the Open button in the window of the
first document).
5) "OpenOffice.org Document Recovery" dialog appears saying that Openoffice.org
crashed.
6) Go on recovering, you will be trapped in an infinite cycle (Calc will crash
again and again after pressing the following two buttons):

OK
Start Recovery >
OK
Start Recovery >
OK
Start Recovery >
...

Remarks

In my stripped down experiment the first document was empty, the second document
had number 2 in cell A1 in Sheet1.

The defect was originally found in version 2.2.1 (Hungarian), then I could
reproduce it in version 2.3 Release Candidate 3.
