Description var1016 2007-10-10 23:01:50 UTC
Version is 2.3.0 (not in list) I have a large collection of charts created in
Excel 2000. These do not open correctly in Calc. I have searched the FAQs and
nothing answers this as I need it to be answered. I have samples, but do not
know how to attach tem to this message

Thanks in advance

When declaring issues, please be more specific. That means, each difference you
see between your charts in Excel and in Calc needs to be declared in a separate
issue with an explicit title. For example:

- "font size in legend bigger in Calc that in Excel"

is better than:

- Problem with chart

Could you please do this, cutting this issue in as many as needed? This issue
will be closed because it does not respects the "submission rules".

Both files are unsuitable. E282F Calc.xls is empty, there are no data in the
sheet and the diagramm is empty. E282F.xls is based on linked data and therefore
cannot be tested.

Confirming with 2.3.1 on WinXP - chart is comressed horizontally.
Can't check with dev builds because m241 crashes on fileopen (see

With 2.2.0, the chart from file E282F.xls seems to be ok.
