Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 82582
disable-gtk should be default when building aqua OOo (and not building mozilla)
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:33 UTC
As of m233 when building OOo on Mac OS X you have to explictly use --disable-gtk when you're building with --disable-build-mozilla. Since gtk on the Mac most of the times is only needed when building Mozilla within OOo -disable-gtk should be default when using --disable-build-mozilla. If you want gtk support but still want to use --without-build-mozilla it could be thought of an --enable-gtk for Mac OS X.
Created attachment 48872 [details] Log file when running ./configure with --disable-build-mozilla but without the necessary --disable-gtk
My Mistake. After talking with Cloph on IRC
When building native OOo on Mac OS X gtk is only needed if you build mozilla as well. In addition you also have to explicit use -disable-gtk if no gtk is installed at all.
reopening - since it does make sense to not check/require gtk when aqua version is built and building mozilla is disabled.
