Description emazoyer 2007-10-19 15:15:53 UTC
Page-setting of my document changes by chance.
* The tables can cover or not the text.
* The index of the last page can change. Without no chagement, the document can
have 91 or 92 pages after opening. The number of pages change also when I update
the index or make a PDF export.

The document is quite complex - when you have opened the documents, does it help
when you manually start "Tools.Update.Page formatting"?
Comment 3 emazoyer 2007-10-23 14:59:57 UTC
No, "Tools.Update.Page formatting" is without effect.
I am sorry complexity of the document.
But the bug appeared only with the fusion of the chapters in a same document.
The bug seems to be a bad heights calculation of section.

To cause the bug, it's enough to update the index.
The last page is then numbered 92 whereas on opening it was numbered 91.

Mistakes on section in pages #67 and #84.

MRU->FME: open attached document and trigger the page formatting. you will see on
page 67: the table is the only content on the page. The section which should
follow on this page has moved to the next page. Looks like a poroblem of the
many headings having the "keep with next" attribute.
This can be workarounded by entering a page break following the table and
clicking "Undo".

on page 84: at the top of the page there is a table which is covering the
section which starts below the table. Entering a paragraph break in the table
and clicking "Undo" will workaround this problem.

This may be two different problems, so should I file a separate for one of these?

Unfortunately the workarounds only persist until the document is saved and
reloaded...
