Description muntyan 2007-11-02 02:46:07 UTC
You can't run openoffice on one client machine and multiple displays. For
example: start openoffice on the normal local display; then start a vnc server
on the same machine and try to run openoffice there - it will open a new
document on the local display instead. So for instance if I happen to connect to
my vnc server from laptop, then to start openoffice I have to killall
soffice.bin first.

Note: this bug is in fact a duplicate for #60555 which was closed as a duplicate
for #12719 which is wrong: #12719 is about some multi-screen configurations,
Xinerama and whatnot, while 60555 is about the very issue described here. And I
can't reopen #60555, hence this new bug report.

something for JW??
Comment 2 mci 2007-11-07 15:40:55 UTC
hmmmm I didn't read all :(

This isn't something for jw,
it's simply another "...I can run only one instance per user on one machine..."

@tm: do you know an issue about this problem, which is not closed?
