My OpenOffice Writer is set to save up my files every minute in case my computer
crashes or the program itself crashes. Unfortunately, sometimes when the
computer or the program crashes the auto-recovery would not have saved the
information that was written the minute before the system or program crashes.
This also can be seen when a file has NOT been saved at all before the system
crashes. In this latter case, OpenOffice Writer will more often then not recover
a blank page.

Autorecovery is "Framework" component.

You are using a Mac OOo version?

I think this is duplicate of fixed

kalamityangel,
please upgrade to 2.3.1 and see if that fixes the problem.
If not - please reopen the issue.
