Description lars 2002-10-17 13:00:45 UTC
when autocomplete suggests sth. ENTER leads to leaving the cell.
In Writre, the suggestion is accepted;

thius should be consistent: DEL dismisses the suggestion, ENTER accepts it,
DEL+ENTER (sequentially) goes to next cell.

How do you currently accept autocomplete in Calc?

Hi Niklas,

one for you. Found no way to add some characters. Test in A1 and typed
te in a3 results in a black test but no way to add another character
or more to make it a tester.

It's supposed to be that way. Cell AutoInput doesn't suggest words,
it's the whole cell content. So it's only natural to accept the cell
input when pressing "Enter". If you want to add something to the text,
you can press "End" if in edit mode, of press "F2" to get into edit
mode if you're in input mode.
