Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 85660
Fields set to transparent background are not transparent with Calc export
Last modified: 2008-11-22 10:40:02 UTC
Found with 680M4, XP, SRB 1.0.2 To reproduce - open the bug doc attached to Issue 77494 - execute the report. The background colors are now set in the Calc file, however the fields are not. They are set to transparent background but this is not honored in the Calc file.
confirm and send to the right developer
should be 3.0, shouldn't it? 3.x is way too far away, IMO.
Created attachment 53167 [details] doc with color set at ro and cell is transparent
Please take a look at the attached doc. The table-row-properties have set a background color. The table-cell-properties have set a background color of transparent but the color of the row isn't shown.
A cell's background does not merge with a row's background, it takes precedence instead. Transparency results in "no cell background colour", so what you see in the sheet "works as designed". The odd thing is that the cell's format background dialog displays the row's background. This is certainly nothing to be solved for 3.0, at least not by me, I got more important things to do. Where's this 'nobody' issue account to assign to? The scenario IMHO can only be generated in file storage, not by means of the UI. The workaround is to not let the report generator specify a transparent cell background, so the row background is taken. Reassigning to Ocke in case such a quick fix is needed.
Radio button confusion.. reassigning I said.. Ocke, please see last comment.
I fixed it that way that the table-cell-properties will not be exported when the background color is transparent.
Please verify. Thanks.

Checked w/ OOo 3.0 final Closing
