@ob:  Instead of moving Jobs-stclient.xcu to the brand layer (which would imply
to add a new brand-layer share/registry/modules tree to the configmgr
configuration), would it be possible to expand the brand specific data in
setup_native/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Jobs.xcu:1.3 at runtime (e.g.,
via bootstrap variables) rather than build time?

not relevant for OOo 3.0 beta after all: even though a generic Jobs-stclient.xcu
in the basis layer would not contain the correct information for each product,
since right now the basis layer for each product is built afresh, each
(erroneously product specific) basis layer does contain the right information

(for later reference: the data is stored in
/var/sadm/servicetag/registry/servicetag.xml, viewable with /usr/bin/stclient -x)
