Last modified: 2013-03-29 10:43:57 UTC
In the help document I find the blow text.(Presentations and Drawings->command and menu reference->presentations->toolbars text formatting bar->font color). (In presentation)…… You can also click here, and then drag a selection to change the text color…… But It is not correctly work in presentation. Please have a look.
I can't reproduce the bug. - write some text - click into a word of the text or select a text - click on the textcolor icon -> the font color flyer opens - drag to a color and release the cursor - the text get the selected color.
It'effect is different that the color icon in wirter and in impress. But it's reference in help is same(… You can also click here, and then drag a selection to change the text color…). You could open a write and a impress, and do the step. -Input some text. -Put the cursor in the text(not select any words). -click on the textcolor icon(not triangle, not open the font color flyer) you find the cursor become a "paint pail" in wirter, you could drag the "paint pail" to change the word'color. But the cursor could not become a "paint pail".you could not drag the cursor to change the text color.

Works in Impress/Draw and Calc like described in the help. Only in Writer the behavior is different to the help.
According to help: "Click to apply the current font color to the selected characters. You can also click here, and then drag a selection to change the text color. Click the arrow next to the icon to open the Font color toolbar." In reality: "drag a selection" isn't working in Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw. Rev. 1400866
