I migrated an Excel workbook to Calc. There are several tabs in the workbook,
one for each individual work sheet. If I highlight a group of cells in a work
sheet (tab) and change from one tab to another then I lose the highlighting in
the first worksheet. In Excel when I return to the first tab the highlighting is
still active, which is how I want Calc to work.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Remember cell range highlighting when switching sheets.
