Description larry_melanson 2008-03-09 16:24:36 UTC
I migrated an Excel workbook to Calc. There are several worksheets (tabs) in the
workbook. If I zoom to a group of cells in one worksheet the program keeps that
zoom level for all worksheets in the workbook. I would like to keep separate
zoom levels for each sheet. Excel does this very nicely.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Zoom per sheet, instead global zoom, is a nice enhancement.
Comment 3 Joe Smith 2015-02-17 13:17:00 UTC
I think this issue can be closed:

The feature is available once the option is enabled:
Tools > Options > OO Calc > View > Zoom > Synchronize sheets: OFF

Nice one Joe. This issue did not seem to attract a lot of attention. I wonder when between 2008 and now the option was added (if not there all along).

Meanwhile, do you think it would be useful to change the default or would that just mess with folks who are already accustomed to the default behavior?
