I go to http://www.openoffice.org/, click on "I want to download 
OpenOffice.org", then it offers me to download OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 for Linux 
in German, which would have been correct.  When I follow that link, however, I 
end up, after a redirect or two, on 
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/download.php telling me that the download 
does not exist.

On http://download.openoffice.org/other.html I see that the latest available 
version is 2.3.1, which I am downloading successfully.  So somehow what one 
part of the web site offers for download should be synchronized with the other 
part.

Now that 2.4.0 German is released the picture is consistent again. Thanks for 
the hint..
