Description livin 2008-03-29 06:14:58 UTC
'Window' menu should contain a 'Zoom' command (keyboard shortcut = 'Comman')

Mac applications usually have a 'Zoom'
(something like - but NOT __equivalent__ to Windows' 'Maximize').

The mac port of OO doesn't have this Menu-item .. yet.

Do you mean the green round button on the right with a + in it when you hover over it, that is in the top
left of the window?
Comment 2 livin 2008-03-29 16:19:06 UTC
Yes, the green title-bar '+' button you referred to is indeed it.

My enhancement-request is that the 'Window' Menu-item
at the top of the screen should also provide this same 'Zoom' functionality.
i.e., it controls the
 size of the "Active Window"

'Zoom' here is similar to 'Maximize'

It is distinct from the 'Zoom...' (under the 'View' menu, I think) which controls the
size of the "Contents of the Active Window".

PS: I had made an error in the bug-summary at the time of submission, correcting that with this
update.

this would be an enhancement for framework; can only be done when system
dependent menu configuration becomes possible.
