Description martho 2002-10-28 09:50:29 UTC
When executing a macro, the user still is able to input text or just close the
document. Sometimes this is not wanted, because a macro fails if it works on a
document which is closed by the user.

Another point is that users, which are not so familiar with OO, don't know when
the macro ends. It would be great if there where some command to show a wait-
cursor while the macro runs.

When the macro is executed via the macro dialog, there is no way to
prevent closing the document. When the macro is executed in other
ways (URL, event, link), the framework module blocks the document from
being closed as long as the macro is running (OOo 1.1 branch only).

How to set a wait cursor is a support question, IssueZilla is not for
support. As far as I know, this question is even answered months ago
on the dev@api.openoffice.org mailing list. Please search and if you
can't find, ask on the mailing list.
