Insert a sound or a movie with menu 'Insert-Movie and Sound' or Drag&Drop in a
Writer document. You can play sound or movie directly after inserting (delimter
points are visisble). But after deselecting you cannot reselect this object.

With the other moduls there are no problems.

Note: With OOo 2.4 there is a similar problem in Calc and Writer  -> Issue 87373.

MRU->OD: insert a sound or movie object into Writer (via "Insert.Movie and
sound"), deselect it -> now you can only selcet it via the "Selection" from the
drawing tools; also moving the object is only possible via cursor keys.

Same reason as for issue 89371 - probably these issues are related.

Issue 89371 was closed as WORKSFORME.
To declare this issue as duplicate without checking the behaviour seems not to
be the right way.

In OOo 3.0 under WinXP and Linux the bug is still present. Therefore REOPEN.

->jolatt: If you don't like the resolution of issue 89371 then that doesn't mean
that this issue is not a dupliate. The <ctrl>+click has been introduced to make
it possible to select text that is 'on top' of drawing objects. This applies
also to movies and sound objects.

The behaviour seems to be inconistent:

You wrote that this concerns also drawing objects. But when I insert a drawing
or gallery object in a new document there is no need to press CTRL.
Insert a sound or movie object, deselect it. You can select it only with CTRL-mouse.

Select the drawing or gallery object. Now you can select all objects until you
click outside of an object.

If you change the setting of in German 'Umlauf' there is no need to press CTRL
to select a sound or movie object.
