Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 88926
setting font for entire selected slide's title does not apply for hebrew text
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:55:33 UTC
i have a mixed text of hebrew and english words in a text object - slide's title when i select the entire text (ctrl-a) and change the font, only the english words get the new font style. the hebrew text remains the same. selecting specific hebrew words and choosing a new font does change the font. in a newly drawn text area all works fine. (in writer it works just fine too) this happens in a slide's template where i choose a single title + a single text area box.
Reassigned.

Does your description fit to your attachment? which part is hebrew, which is english and on which slide do you execute your description? Thanks in advance.
Created attachment 54530 [details] a title (text object) with mixed hebrew and english words that has different fonts
i do not know if mirvine's attachment has anything to do with this issue. i made a new attachment with one slide in which a title (text object) has a mixed hebrew and english words with different fonts assigned to those words. selecting each word and changing font family (UI's font combo-box) works fine. same for individual change of font size. BUT... when i select all text (both words) and change font family... only the english text (word) get affected. the hebrew text stays with the old font :-( btw: changing the font size for both words changes the text size correctly for both hebrew and english text :-)
Reproducible. Reassigned.
