Hi, 
I just installed the dev 3.0.0 Beta version for getting the new note/comment
features. It works perfectly fine. However, in the last stable version 2.4 I
installed the extension Zotero for bibliography entries. This extension I can't
install anymore (Runtime error, and Oo shuts down). However, after restart I get
a task bar with the zotero menues, but without icons. And it does not work.
Also, the extension does not appear in the extension manager menu. Maybe I did
something wrong?

Thanks a bunch for your efforts. Definitely, Oo rocks!

This could be a problem with the Zotero extension itself. You could try to get
in touch with the developers that provided that extension.

Installing the zotero.oxt crashes OOo DEV300 (tested with m10) while it worked
fine in OO 2.4.

I cannot reproduce this on a current m14 and an older m12. Seems to be fixed.

MRU->JL: checked with m13 and m14 - both give a C++ Runtime Error when trying to
install the extension. Maybe only on pro builds?

The problem is that the C++ & C runtime libraries for Visual Studio 2008 are not
installed on the machine. However, the extension does not contain a library.

As this works for some (those who have the relevant msvcr dlls installed system
wide on their machine) and fails for others (those who have not), it is most
definitely issue 88671.
