Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 89070
bookmark not registered
Last modified: 2008-05-14 16:14:59 UTC
Define a bookmark; try to refer to it in a hyperlink: it’s not in the bookmark list, unless the file has been saved in the meantime.
Reassigned to ES.
Cannot reproduce in OOo 3.0 and current. Please describe step by step how you proceed to create the bookmark and hyperlink. Please report issue on current builds: http://download.openoffice.org/680/?intcmp=1235 and specify your operating system.
for ES: 0: Open BookHype.odt select CC (or click anywhere) in aaaaaaaaa Insert/bookmark, enter B as name (A already exists) click OK: window closes 1: Select DD in bbbbbb Insert/Hyperlink; in the dialog window, click Document Path: browse to the document BookHype Target: click the funny icon; in the new window, click + next to Bookmarks; the old bookmark A is in the list, but not B. If I save the file and redo procedure 1, B is now in the bookmark list --BookHypeB.odt. Another problem: The hyperlink window offers a menu of documents: the current file is not there (it should be first on the list) unless it has been read in. In other words, a 'new' file is not in the list, even though it can be chosen through the browse button. I am using OpenOffice 2.3.1 because of bug 87642 in 2.4
Created attachment 53529 [details] file for bookmarks A,B
Created attachment 53530 [details] file with bookmark B
If you enter a path showing to the current document, the dialog retrieves the content of the *saved* file. This means without the new bookmark. If you don't specify any path, the dialog "understands" it has to search in the current unsaved document and the new bookmark is retrieved. Sum up: save your document before adding hyperlinks to bookmarks or use links without paths.
